It is always a good thing to remember that the English word video is derived from the Latin vidēre, as in “to see”.  The first-singular present indicative of vidēre is literally the word videō, with the accent mark, which means “I see”.  And I see you right now as you’re reading this in my mind’s eye, I see you with my inner eye.  You’re looking through a screen into a prism of light, and my eyes see through you.
